Join Chromatic to safeguard the internet's user experience by ensuring pixel-perfect application states. You will architect secure, scalable systems on AWS that support millions of daily browser snapshots for major clients like BBC and Shopify.
This position focuses on proactive infrastructure security and stability. You will collaborate with product teams to embed security into development workflows and maintain high availability for enterprise customers.
What you'll do
- Own security posture including access controls and vulnerability triage
- Design and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform
- Embed with engineering teams to conduct security reviews
- Ensure developer tooling and CI/CD workflows include built-in security
- Participate in on-call rotation for incident response and resolution
What you'll need
- 5+ years deploying containerized applications in AWS
- 5+ years experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals like firewalls and VPCs
- Understanding of cloud security standards and least-privilege IAM
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and Docker orchestration
Nice to have
- Familiarity with SOC2 or GDPR compliance frameworks
- Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL databases
- Background in distributed, remote-first team environments

What you get
- Salary range $155,000 to $190,000 USD
- Equity compensation included
