Truelogic is hiring a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to support an innovative fintech company. The client builds a technology-enabled private banking and lending platform for independent wealth advisors.
You will design and operate robust cloud infrastructure, enhance system reliability, and drive the maturation of deployment tooling. The role requires deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and data security within a fast-paced startup environment.
What you'll do
- Own and evolve cloud infrastructure running on AWS
- Design, operate, and scale Kubernetes production environments
- Improve system reliability and performance for financial data
- Build infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and observability
- Partner with engineers on PostgreSQL performance and scaling
- Strengthen infrastructure security and access controls
- Identify architectural bottlenecks and improve scalability
- Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis
What you'll need
- 6+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering
- Deep practical experience managing AWS environments
- Strong production experience scaling Kubernetes clusters
- Proven track record scaling high-availability systems
- Extensive infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform
- Robust experience with CI/CD pipelines and observability
- Deep understanding of cloud and application security
- Ability to operate independently in a startup environment
Nice to have
- Strong understanding of PostgreSQL administration and tuning
- Background in fintech, banking, or payments platforms
- Experience with SOC 2 compliant environments
- Proficiency or hands-on experience with Python
