In this role, you will drive frontend architecture decisions, ensure high performance and accessibility, and maintain API contracts. You will work closely with other teams to continuously improve engineering processes and deliver a superior user experience.
What you'll do
- Build responsive, performant, and accessible web applications
- Make key decisions regarding frontend architecture
- Write integration and unit tests for code reliability
- Drive creation and maintenance of API contracts
- Improve engineering processes, tools, and systems
- Stay updated with latest front-end technologies and standards
What you'll need
- Minimum 6+ years of professional front-end development experience
- Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, HTML5, and CSS3
- Extensive experience with Jest and React Testing Library
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and contract design
- Proficiency with Figma for design collaboration
- Strong focus on usability and user experience
- Eligible to work in Canada
Nice to have
- Experience at an early-stage or fast-growing startup
- Previous experience in the fintech sector
