Join the team behind HTTPie to build high-quality features for the Cloud, Web, Desktop, and Terminal products. You will work across the entire stack, from database models to UI components, focusing on simplicity and developer experience.
What you'll do
- Build user-facing features with a focus on simplicity and UX
- Develop across the stack from database models to API endpoints
- Improve real-time data synchronization protocols
- Implement team collaboration and version history features
- Work on API testing automation and scripting capabilities
- Add support for formats like OpenAPI and import/export mechanisms
- Integrate platform parts for consistent developer experience
- Add analytics, monitoring, and alerts to the service
What you'll need
- 5 years of software engineering experience
- Experience building React single-page applications
- Experience building Python backends
- Solid understanding of HTTP and modern APIs
- Strong grasp of coding, testing, debugging, and automation
- Passion for developer tools and delightful user experience
- Ability to choose between robust and minimal solutions
- Strong written communication skills
