As a Senior Healthcare Integrations Engineer, you will ensure secure and efficient interoperability with healthcare partners. You will collaborate with infrastructure and product teams to deploy new solutions and automate processes using modern standards.
What you'll do
- Architect scalable solutions for transmitting millions of messages monthly
- Design system architectures for complex EDI and API data mappings
- Implement error handling and retry mechanisms for data integrity
- Debug and troubleshoot integration systems with external partners
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA security and privacy regulations
- Document features, flows, and processes within the application
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience developing robust software solutions
- Strong skills in building and integrating APIs
- Experience scaling API systems cost-effectively
- Proficiency in PHP, Python, or comparable languages
- Ability to adapt quickly to new programming languages
- Excellent problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
Nice to have
- Familiarity with 837, 277, 999, and 835 EDI transactions
- Knowledge of HL7 and FHIR healthcare data standards
- Demonstrated leadership or mentorship experience
