Join Rescale as a Senior HPC Engineer to deliver technical solutions for complex engineering and scientific discovery challenges. You will manage and optimize HPC software for demanding customers while advocating for their needs internally. The team works at the intersection of intelligent automation, AI, and large-scale R&D applications.
What you'll do
- Become an expert in the Rescale platform and customer workflows
- Publish, manage, and optimize complex HPC software for clients
- Develop best practices for HPC services and support processes
- Advocate customer needs with sales, product, and engineering teams
- Collaborate with support to improve customer value and retention
- Identify productivity opportunities through automation and tools
- Provide technical support to customers, ISVs, and partners
- Solve software problems requiring deep environment knowledge
- Maintain software via installation, benchmarking, and optimization
What you'll need
- 5+ years experience with HPC Systems and Applications
- Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows environments
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash and Python
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms
- Knowledge of HPC schedulers, MPI, containers, Kubernetes, GPU
- Familiarity with OpenMP, CUDA, and scientific computing tools
- Experience applying AI-assisted workflows in development
- General knowledge in at least one CAE discipline
- BS/BA degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
