Join a lean, profitable team building a real-time SERP API for Fortune 500 companies. You will take full ownership of the infrastructure, handling everything from containerized browsers to multi-region deployments without the bureaucracy of large organizations.
This position requires proactive problem-solving and strong written communication skills. You will define the direction of the platform, debug complex production issues, and ensure reliability at scale while working remotely from anywhere.
What you'll do
- Own and improve observability across the entire stack including metrics and alerting
- Architect and operate browser cloud infrastructure with session isolation and autoscaling
- Handle websocket connections and TCP-level tuning for browser automation
- Write and maintain all infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Tune autoscaling, perform capacity planning, and optimize cloud costs
- Expand infrastructure to new regions and experiment with serverless options
- Debug production issues such as memory leaks and network failures under pressure
- Build disaster recovery plans and incident response runbooks
What you'll need
- Deep production experience with AWS services like ECS, EKS, Fargate, and RDS
- Fluent in Terraform and infrastructure as code principles
- Comfortable with Linux systems, Docker, and container orchestration
- Experience running headless browsers or similar high-concurrency workloads at scale
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP and websockets
- Built usable observability stacks using tools like Prometheus or Datadog
- Ability to debug complex system issues like zombie processes or container behavior
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- BSc or higher in Computer Science or equivalent technical field
Nice to have
- Experience with browser clouds or high-concurrency containerized workloads
- Multi-region and multi-cloud deployment experience
- Proven track record in cost optimization at scale
- Experience with connection pooling tools like PgBouncer
- Understanding of database sharding concepts
- Experience with Lambdas or serverless architectures
- Knowledge of TLS fingerprinting or CDP internals
