Join Duna as an Infrastructure & Security Engineer to build a platform where reliability and security are core product features. You will own the infrastructure stack, automate compliance for SOC 2 and ISO 27001, and implement least-privilege security models.
The team operates remotely and values high agency, aiming to turn operational toil into self-service systems. You will help engineers run AI agents safely while maintaining strict auditability and tenant isolation.
What you'll do
- Harden platform using AWS, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code
- Implement least privilege, secrets management, and tenant isolation
- Automate SOC 2 and ISO 27001 controls and evidence collection
- Build self-service systems to reduce operational toil for engineers
- Enable safe execution of AI agents with sandboxes and guardrails
- Lead incident response and drive post-incident system improvements
What you'll need
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and IaC
- Strong background in CI/CD pipelines and observability tools
- Proven ability to implement security engineering principles
- Experience with enterprise IT, certifications, and security reviews
- High agency to solve ambiguous problems and ship plans
- Pragmatic judgment on when to harden or simplify systems
Nice to have
- Curiosity about AI impact on software development and operations
- Experience with event sourcing architectures
- Familiarity with Node.js and TypeScript stacks
