Join Post.News as a Senior or Principal iOS Engineer to help shape a social platform focused on civil conversations and real news. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, prioritize, and implement new features for the mobile app.
This position offers full ownership of development tasks, from initial design to final deployment. You will work in a flat organization where every member contributes directly to the product's success and user experience.
What you'll do
- Design and develop complex iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C
- Collaborate with teams to identify and prioritize new features
- Take ownership of development processes from start to finish
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness
- Implement enhancements to improve user experience
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience in iOS development
- Proven track record building complex iOS apps from scratch
- Strong knowledge of iOS SDK, UIKit, Core Data, and Core Animation
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML
- Proficiency with version control tools like Git
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to have
- Previous experience working in a start-up environment
- Background in developing social media applications
- Experience with enterprise social networking tools
