Join the SAIGE team as a founding engineer to own the end-to-end ML lifecycle. You will bridge cutting-edge AI concepts with functional products, focusing on rapid iteration and scalable deployment of Large Quantitative Models.
What you'll do
- Design and manage data pipelines for training and retraining LQMs
- Develop and test novel ML models and algorithms
- Clean and engineer features from large-scale datasets
- Analyze model behavior and optimize architecture for production
- Collaborate with researchers and product managers on roadmaps
- Enforce engineering standards for code quality and security
What you'll need
- BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- 5+ years of postgraduate software development experience
- Experience building scalable ML systems and data pipelines
- Strong expertise in Python and ML libraries like PyTorch
- Proven track record of full ML lifecycle management
- Proficiency in MLOps, CI/CD, and experiment tracking tools
Nice to have
- MS or PhD in relevant field
- Experience in financial or risk simulation
- Tech leadership in complex cross-functional spaces
- Experience with GCP or AWS cloud platforms
