Join the AI Generation Engine (SAIGE) team as a founding engineer to design, prototype, and validate AI-first SaaS products. You will leverage SandboxAQ’s Large Quantitative Models and emerging agentic frameworks to unlock new use cases across various sectors.
This position requires owning the end-to-end ML lifecycle, from data exploration to scalable production deployment. You will work at high velocity to translate cutting-edge AI concepts into functional, real-world minimum viable products.
What you'll do
- Design and manage robust data pipelines for training and retraining LQMs
- Develop and test novel ML models and algorithms for product objectives
- Clean, transform, and engineer features from large-scale complex datasets
- Analyze model behavior and tune hyper-parameters for production efficiency
- Collaborate with researchers and engineers to define ML development roadmaps
- Enforce engineering standards for code quality, efficiency, and security
- Drive technical execution and make critical design decisions independently
What you'll need
- BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent field
- 8+ years of postgraduate experience in software development
- Experience building highly-available, scalable ML systems and data pipelines
- Strong expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, NumPy, and Pandas
- Proven history of driving full ML lifecycle from exploration to deployment
- Deep proficiency in MLOps, CI/CD, experiment tracking, and version control
Nice to have
- MS or PhD in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Experience in financial simulation, risk simulation, or technical fields
- Tech leadership experience in complex, cross-collaborative environments
- Experience with scalable software development on GCP or AWS
