This independent contractor role requires a versatile designer to produce visual assets across digital, print, and social channels. You will transform creative briefs into finished materials, ranging from web graphics and diagrams to trade show signage, while publishing content directly to company websites.
What you'll do
- Design web graphics, thumbnails, icons, and illustrations for digital channels
- Create diagrams and visual explainers for product and marketing content
- Design print materials including brochures, banners, and trade show booths
- Prepare production-ready files meeting vendor specifications for print
- Publish and format articles and blog posts in WordPress
- Manage and organize digital assets within content systems
- Source and edit images while adhering to brand guidelines
What you'll need
- Strong proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Proven experience publishing and managing assets in WordPress
- Ability to build webpages from wireframes
- Portfolio demonstrating both digital and print design work
- Fluency in remote collaboration tools like Slack and Zoom
- Prior remote work experience with US or UK-based companies
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills
- Self-directed ability to work without daily oversight
Nice to have
- Knowledge of AI prompting and AI-assisted design workflows
- Experience publishing promotional content on social media platforms
- Short-form video editing skills for social promos
- Familiarity with HubSpot and Figma
- Background in AV, video, or B2B technology industries
