Join Gallatin to redesign logistics infrastructure for US defense and allied partners. You will create AI-enabled tools that help military logisticians make critical decisions in simulated and physical environments, blending human-factors rigor with rapid prototyping.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with PMs and engineers on interfaces for military logistics
- Lead AI prototyping practices to accelerate team learning velocity
- Conduct user research and testing with military stakeholders
- Support design system maturation for brand and product consistency
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to product strategy
- Document design decisions and maintain detailed specifications
What you'll need
- US Citizenship is mandatory for defense-related projects
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field
- 5+ years of product design experience with complex data-rich products
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and modern prototyping tools
- Ability to think in systems, considering states, flows, and failure modes
- Portfolio demonstrating design for complexity rather than simplification
- Willingness to travel occasionally for research and client meetings
Nice to have
- Experience in simulation, modeling, or logistics domains
- Familiarity with front-end development for code-based prototyping
- Knowledge of accessibility standards for information-dense interfaces
- Background in defense, intelligence, or government technology
