You will lead design efforts for Saris, creating clear and trustworthy experiences for banks and credit unions using AI automation. Working alongside co-founders, product managers, and engineers, you will translate complex regulatory and operational requirements into intuitive user interfaces.
This hands-on role requires turning messy legacy workflows into streamlined digital products. You will have significant influence on product direction while ensuring high-quality execution in a high-stakes environment.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end design for major product surfaces including discovery and flows
- Design interfaces for complex, multi-step enterprise workflows
- Translate banking operations requirements into intuitive user experiences
- Collaborate with product managers to define problems and scope solutions
- Work with engineering teams to ensure high-quality technical execution
- Design for trust, transparency, and control in AI-driven systems
- Create and maintain design systems and patterns as the product scales
- Participate in user research and usability testing with real customers
What you'll need
- 6+ years of product design experience in enterprise or B2B software
- Proven track record designing complex systems like dashboards or admin tools
- Strong interaction design and information architecture skills
- Ability to synthesize user problems and balance business goals
- Experience working closely with engineering in fast-moving teams
- Comfortable designing for ambiguity and evolving requirements
- Portfolio demonstrating depth in problem-solving beyond visual polish
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, banking, payments, or regulated industries
- Background designing AI-powered or automation products
- Familiarity with data-heavy interfaces and operational tooling
- Experience contributing to or leading a design system
