You will own end-to-end design for platform applications including Analytics, Visual Explorer, and AI-driven workflows. Working closely with product managers and engineers, you will translate dense data sets into clear interfaces for network engineers and architects while helping to scale the company's design culture.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end design for platform apps like Analytics and Visual Explorer
- Design interactions between applications, NetBox, and observability products
- Transform complex data and workflows into usable interfaces for engineers
- Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative user research
- Prototype concepts quickly using AI tools, code, or Figma
- Contribute to the Figma design system and Storybook component library
- Shape how the design team integrates AI into its processes
- Help define the long-term vision for the platform
What you'll need
- 8+ years of product design experience in B2B enterprise software
- Experience designing for technical users like DevOps or network engineers
- Track record of taking products from MVP to general availability
- Comfort with complex data sets, visualization, and multi-step workflows
- Strong visual and interaction design skills demonstrated in a portfolio
- Hands-on experience planning and acting on user research
- Active use of AI in design work with examples of process improvement
- Prototyping skills using AI tools, code, or Figma
- Experience working in a design team within a scale-up environment
- Able to work with significant overlap with US Eastern and UK hours
Nice to have
- Experience designing observability, monitoring, or compliance products
- Background in network management or infrastructure software
- Experience using product analytics tools like PostHog
- Familiarity with design systems built in Figma and Storybook
