You will own the product strategy for Helius’s core infrastructure, including real-time streaming, historical data, RPCs, and developer tooling. Your customers are engineers at trading firms and wallets who prioritize latency and reliability. You will balance customer needs with infrastructure investments, define product guarantees, and drive end-to-end launches.
This role requires hands-on technical engagement. You will prototype ideas, reproduce bugs, and contribute code when it accelerates shipping. Embedded with engineering and involved in enterprise deals, you will ensure the platform remains coherent, performant, and easy to adopt.
What you'll do
- Own the product roadmap for the developer platform, balancing requests and infrastructure bets
- Engage with customers like trading firms to understand architecture and latency needs
- Write code for prototypes, integrations, and bug reproduction to accelerate shipping
- Define product guarantees including delivery semantics, ordering, and SLAs
- Manage pricing, packaging, and enterprise deals for usage-based models
- Drive launches including documentation, migration guides, and developer communication
- Track metrics such as adoption, churn, latency SLOs, and revenue growth
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience on technical, developer-facing products
- Working coding ability to integrate APIs and prototype without engineering support
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, throughput, and delivery guarantees
- Experience building or shipping products within blockchain ecosystems
- Track record of serving demanding technical customers in fintech or trading
- Proven ability to own product outcomes like adoption, revenue, or retention
- Strong instincts for pricing usage-based infrastructure products
- Exceptional written communication skills for async, remote collaboration
Nice to have
- Prior experience as a software engineer or history of shipping code as a PM
- Experience with real-time market data, Kafka, gRPC, or WebSockets at scale
- Deep knowledge of Solana’s data model, RPC layer, or ecosystem
- Background as an early or lead PM at an infrastructure or devtools company
