You will own the strategy and execution for Pliant's Member Management platform, which serves as the trust layer for the company. Your work covers authentication methods like passkeys and SSO, permissions models, and the full member lifecycle.
The team ensures bank-grade security while maintaining a simple user experience for members and AI agents. You will collaborate closely with engineering, security, and compliance teams to support large enterprise partners and banks across multiple regions.
What you'll do
- Define strategy and roadmap for identity, authentication, and tenant management
- Implement passwordless auth solutions including passkeys, eIDs, and SSO
- Build multi-tenant, multi-region identity systems for partners and banks
- Automate member lifecycle processes via HRIS sync and just-in-time provisioning
- Collaborate with Security and Compliance to meet regulated institution standards
- Design permissions and entitlements models used by other product domains
- Prepare infrastructure for AI agents with verifiable identity and audit trails
What you'll need
- 5+ years in product management, ideally in B2B SaaS or fintech
- Experience with identity, access control, SSO, IDPs, or RBAC
- Strong technical fluency in auth flows and system design trade-offs
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems and make decisions with limited data
- Experience coordinating with enterprise stakeholders or partner banks
- High ownership mindset and clear cross-functional communication skills
- Fluent English proficiency required
Nice to have
- Familiarity with fintech trust and compliance requirements like PSD2
- Proficiency in additional languages beyond English
