You will own the payments roadmap for two distinct business models: high-value travel transactions and recurring subscription billing. As an individual contributor, you lead the mission-aligned team through influence, partnering with engineering and data to optimize authorization rates and reduce churn.
The position reports to the Director of Product and collaborates closely with the Head of Payments. You will define requirements, manage backlogs, and drive international market entry while coordinating with separate fraud and disputes functions.
What you'll do
- Own prioritization of the team backlog within the broader payments roadmap
- Write product requirements covering failure paths and reconciliation impact
- Lead daily planning and rituals for the cross-functional mission-aligned team
