You will own the operational lifecycle of a platform processing millions of provider records, focusing on reliability and automation. The team values preventing incidents over reacting to them, using AI-assisted tooling to reduce toil while maintaining high standards. You will influence architecture and deployment workflows across distributed systems that serve as critical dependencies for healthcare organizations.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain reliable infrastructure for hundreds of upstream integrations
- Implement meaningful SLIs, error budgets, and data quality signals
- Improve autoscaling behavior and resource utilization across cloud-native systems
- Own incident response processes, root cause analysis, and runbook creation
- Build Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines to reduce manual work
- Instrument data freshness and infrastructure health beyond simple uptime
What you'll need
- 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering operating production systems
- Deep hands-on experience with GCP, specifically GKE and Cloud Run
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Pulumi
- Strong Linux systems administration and root cause analysis skills
- Experience designing actionable monitoring strategies using Golden Signals
- Fluency in Python, Bash, Go, or similar scripting languages
- Ability to communicate operational risks to both engineers and product managers
Nice to have
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems or microservices
- Familiarity with healthcare, credentialing, or health-tech environments
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted observability or incident response tools
- Knowledge of NodeJS, TypeScript, Java, or React application stacks
