You will join the European Site Reliability Engineering team, contributing to the core designs and standards of the global SRE group. Your focus will be on creating stable, cost-efficient, and extensible infrastructure that supports Tempo’s engineering department and its suite of Atlassian ecosystem products.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain infrastructure using industry best practices
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines for automated releases
- Deploy and manage enterprise-scale projects on AWS
- Automate build, release, monitoring, and alerting processes
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues
- Participate in on-call rotation to support application stability
- Ensure all systems meet security and compliance standards
What you'll need
- At least five years of relevant professional experience
- Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and Git
- Solid experience with Linux, Bash, and Terraform
- Confidence working with monitoring and alerting systems
- Experience deploying complex software in cloud environments
- Proficiency with AWS or similar cloud-hosted services
- Understanding of software design patterns and architecture
Nice to have
- Experience with Helm, FluxCD, GitHub Actions, or Ansible
- Familiarity with Datadog for observability
- Background supporting Java or Kotlin applications
- Previous development experience in the Atlassian ecosystem
