Join a team dedicated to improving modern coding agents by evaluating their interactions in real-world scenarios. You will assess whether AI outputs reflect strong engineering taste, useful reasoning, and high-quality explanations.

This position requires making subjective but rigorous judgments about how well tools like Cursor and Codex guide users. You will provide detailed written feedback and video explanations to help define what great engineering assistance looks like.

What you'll do

  • Evaluate end-to-end AI-generated coding interactions for quality and usefulness
  • Judge if outputs align with how a strong engineer would think and reason
  • Assess the clarity and helpfulness of explanations beyond mere syntax correctness
  • Distinguish between different levels of response quality with precision
  • Provide clear, opinionated written feedback on what worked and what did not
  • Help define standards for excellent interactions with AI coding tools

What you'll need

  • Senior, Staff, or Principal-level engineering experience or equivalent
  • Strong background in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python
  • Hands-on experience with OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor
  • Deep familiarity with modern AI-assisted development workflows
  • Ability to evaluate code quality without executing it line by line
  • Strong written and spoken English at B2 level or above
  • Comfortable giving direct, opinionated feedback on engineering work

Nice to have

  • Prior exposure to prompt design or evaluation workflows
