Join G2 as a Senior Software Engineer to create new products that leverage AI and agent technology. You will work across the full stack, from architecture to release, ensuring high performance and quality. The team focuses on transforming the B2B software industry by providing trusted data insights for buyers and sellers.
What you'll do
- Build and deliver new products and features end-to-end to production
- Design solutions that are observable, maintainable, scalable, and production ready
- Implement features using frontier models for content generation and automation
- Validate solutions using traditional QA, evals, and tracing for measurable quality
- Collaborate with designers and PMs to define product concepts and prototypes
- Share knowledge and champion AI solutions to accelerate team execution
What you'll need
- 6+ years of professional programming experience in web and backend environments
- Expert proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python
- Strong knowledge of React, Next.js, or Rails frameworks
- Experience building AI features using OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google models
- Daily use of coding agent harnesses like Claude Code or Codex
- Experience with continuous delivery, feature flagging, and trunk-based development
- BS/BA degree in a related field
Nice to have
- Experience deploying or fine-tuning open-weight models
- Hands-on experience with agent orchestration frameworks
