Join the Consumer Mobile team to build the Kraken app, used by millions for trading and financial management. You will work in React Native to create intuitive, fast, and trustworthy mobile experiences.
This role requires a product-minded engineer who partners with design and product teams to solve ambiguous problems. You will own features end-to-end, from discovery to launch, using data to drive improvements.
What you'll do
- Own features end-to-end from problem definition to launch and iteration
- Collaborate with Product and Design to shape solutions early
- Build high-quality mobile experiences in React Native
- Make architectural decisions for state management and performance
- Use data and client feedback to measure and improve impact
- Contribute to code reviews and technical discussions
What you'll need
- Strong experience building production apps with React Native
- Product mindset with ability to challenge requirements
- Track record of delivering measurable product impact
- Comfortable working with APIs and real-time data
- Effective communication in English across distributed teams
- Proficient with AI tools like Cursor or Copilot
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, crypto, or trading platforms
- Knowledge of Swift or Kotlin for native modules
- Background in handling streaming or real-time data
- Experience in startup or small tech company environments
- Understanding of mobile performance optimization
