You will own the long-term evolution of the Moonshot Flutter application, defining architecture and engineering practices. Working closely with Design and Product, you will build a scalable design system and deliver interactive trading features like live charts and order management.
This position requires driving mobile performance, reliability, and testing standards while mentoring the team. You will collaborate with backend engineers on API design and participate in on-call rotations to ensure app stability.
What you'll do
- Own architecture and evolution of the Flutter app across iOS and Android
- Design and maintain a company-wide mobile design system and component library
- Build interactive trading features including charts, order tickets, and portfolios
- Optimize app performance, frame rendering, memory usage, and crash rates
- Implement automated testing and define release and QA processes
- Integrate analytics, A/B testing, and feature flags with Product teams
- Partner with backend engineers on API design, error handling, and offline behavior
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and design documentation
- Participate in on-call rotations for mobile incident resolution
What you'll need
- 6–10+ years of professional mobile development experience
- 3+ years of production Flutter experience or strong React Native/Kotlin/Swift background
- Experience owning large-scale consumer apps end-to-end
- Background in fintech, trading, or similarly demanding domains preferred
- Strong understanding of mobile architectures, state management, and modularization
- Proven experience building or leading design systems and UI libraries
- Solid fundamentals in testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and release management
- Strong collaboration skills and experience mentoring other engineers
Nice to have
- Experience with real-time data via WebSockets or streams
- Exposure to growth-focused mobile work like experiment frameworks and deep links
- Background in Crypto/DeFi, trading, or high-frequency transactional apps

How you'll work
