What you'll do
- Build user-facing features from database models to UI components
- Optimize data synchronization using improved serialization protocols
- Implement real-time collaborative editing in the content editor
- Enhance performance by profiling and tweaking virtualized lists
- Add analytics, monitoring, and alerts for operational incident response
- Open-source non-trivial innovations developed during product work
- Redefine software development processes to support purpose-built products
What you'll need
- 5+ years building customer-facing products at high-quality software companies
- Strong fundamentals in React and TypeScript across the full stack
- Experience with Browser technologies, Node, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL
- Track record of driving complex, end-to-end features with visible impact
- Product sensibility with a focus on UX, speed, and polish
- Ability to shape problems and work without heavy product management overhead
- Self-directed mindset with ownership from idea to shipped feature
- Comfortable in a remote, async-first environment with a lean team
- Previous experience at a startup or company with a high engineering bar
