You will define the mobile architecture strategy, primarily for iOS, ensuring scalability and performance across the company's application suite. Working from the Lisbon office, you will collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape the long-term technical evolution of the platform.
What you'll do
- Define and lead mobile architecture strategy for scalability and maintainability
- Focus on iOS architecture, libraries, and platform-specific patterns
- Collaborate with product and design to align technical decisions with goals
- Establish coding standards, design patterns, and performance guidelines
- Lead architectural reviews and guide refactoring efforts
- Design reusable APIs, SDKs, and modular components
- Mentor mobile engineers to elevate team technical proficiency
What you'll need
- 6+ years of mobile development experience with strong architectural focus
- Deep expertise in iOS development using Swift
- Solid understanding of UIKit, SwiftUI, and Combine frameworks
- Experience with app performance optimization and offline-first strategies
- Strong knowledge of App Store submission and mobile security guidelines
- Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks
- Ability to explain architectural concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Objective-C
- Familiarity with Android development using Kotlin or Java
- Passion for clean code and design patterns like MVVM or VIPER
