You will define the mobile architecture strategy for Air Apps' suite of applications, with a primary focus on iOS. Working from the Lisbon office, you will collaborate with product and engineering teams to build performant, maintainable systems that support global users.
What you'll do
- Define and lead mobile architecture strategy for scalability
- Focus on iOS libraries, patterns, and platform specifics
- Collaborate with product and design on architectural decisions
- Establish coding standards and performance guidelines
- Lead architectural reviews and guide refactoring efforts
- Design reusable APIs, SDKs, and modular components
- Guide choices on third-party libraries and tooling
- Partner with backend teams for seamless service integration
- Mentor mobile engineers to elevate technical proficiency
What you'll need
- 6+ years of mobile development experience
- Deep expertise in iOS development using Swift
- Strong knowledge of UIKit, SwiftUI, and Combine
- Experience with performance optimization and modularization
- Familiarity with Android development is a strong plus
- Knowledge of App Store submission and security guidelines
- Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines and testing
- Ability to explain concepts to technical and non-technical staff
- Passion for clean code and design patterns like MVVM
