Join a new engineering team focused on accelerating machine learning and artificial intelligence capabilities at Blackpoint Cyber. You will develop back-end services and data pipelines while collaborating cross-functionally to support secure, scalable AI solutions.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain back-end services using Python, Node.js, or Go on Kubernetes
- Contribute to Generative AI workflows and supporting data pipelines
- Develop and consume REST, GraphQL, or gRPC APIs for scalable services
- Collaborate with senior engineers on design decisions and architecture
- Participate in code reviews and cross-functional project work
What you'll need
- 3-5 years of back-end software engineering experience
- Proficiency in Python required; familiarity with TypeScript or Java
- Experience deploying microservices on Kubernetes
- Solid understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) design
- Working knowledge of ML/AI concepts and workflows
- Understanding of back-end security fundamentals like API security and auth
- Comfortable working in an Agile environment
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Knowledge of data streaming basics such as Kafka or Spark
- Exposure to LLM or agentic AI tooling
- Domain experience in cybersecurity, IoT, or NLP
