What you'll do
- Solve domain modeling challenges in the energy sector
- Write robust software using Python, Django, and GraphQL
- Create unit, integration, and functional tests
- Debug production issues and maintain code quality
- Document features for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers and assist with onboarding (Eng II)
- Own medium-sized engineering problems independently (Eng II)
What you'll need
- Experience with Python and Django or equivalent frameworks
- Strong skills in domain modeling and architectural design
- Proficiency with GraphQL and async processing via Celery
- Ability to write fault-tolerant and robust software
- Experience working with PostgreSQL databases
- Right to work in Australia is mandatory
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes
- Experience with one or more frontend frameworks
