You will design, build, and maintain robust data processing pipelines for extraction, transformation, and loading. The role requires developing scalable solutions that enhance data flow and enable faster analysis for end-users across the organization.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain ETL pipelines for various data sources
- Lead the development of complex SQL queries for analytics
- Develop tools using AI and ML to cleanse and organize data
- Evaluate and recommend new data infrastructure technologies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs
- Architect data platforms for real-time and batch processing
- Enforce standards for data governance and compliance
- Champion security and automation in data workflows
What you'll need
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- 6-8 years of data engineering experience
- Strong focus on financial systems on SaaS platforms
- Deep expertise in Python, SQL, and Apache Spark
- Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery
- Proven experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms
- Hands-on experience with Airflow and dbt
- Understanding of data security in financial services
- Experience with Delta, JSON, Parquet, and Avro formats
- Familiarity with modeling datasets in Salesforce and Netsuite
Nice to have
- Experience improving enterprise processes and reducing costs
- Previous experience democratizing data at scale
