Join the MeridianLink Mortgage product team to manage a specific segment of the mortgage lending origination platform. You will partner with engineering, design, and go-to-market groups to deliver improvements for financial institutions and borrowers.
The position focuses on end-to-end product ownership, from continuous discovery through agile delivery. You will define roadmaps, write PRDs, and ensure coherence across complex, integrated product areas.
What you'll do
- Own the product roadmap from discovery through delivery and iteration
- Lead continuous discovery via customer interviews and usage analytics
- Write clear PRDs and user stories for engineering teams
- Drive agile ceremonies and maintain a prioritized backlog
- Define and monitor KPIs to demonstrate business impact
- Partner with Engineering, UX, Sales, and Compliance to align goals
- Identify opportunities for AI/ML and intelligent automation
- Stay current on lending trends and regulatory developments
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of product management experience
- Proven track record of end-to-end product ownership
- Experience managing API-integrated software products
- Strong command of agile methodologies and discovery practices
- Analytical mindset using data to drive decisions
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Deep customer empathy and insight translation abilities
Nice to have
- Domain experience in mortgage lending or LOS
- Familiarity with API integration products and developer needs
- Exposure to AI/ML in product contexts
- Experience working with banks or credit unions
- Knowledge of consumer lending regulations like TILA and ECOA
