You will own the vision and execution for Studio, the core interface where users create plans, manage options, and author building models. This product serves as the data origin for downstream processes like estimating and construction documentation.

The role requires deep engagement with drafters to understand their workflows, setting quality standards for interaction latency and geometric correctness, and driving metrics such as activation and authoring throughput.

What you'll do

  • Define vision and roadmap for 2D/3D editing and option management
  • Conduct discovery by observing drafter workflows directly
  • Collaborate with engineering on API and rendering system integration
  • Establish quality thresholds for latency, geometry, and undo integrity
  • Track metrics including activation, throughput, and model correctness
  • Guide expansion to sales and purchasing personas without disrupting drafters

What you'll need

  • 5+ years of product management experience on modern software
  • Proven track record shipping complex interactive applications or editors
  • Technical fluency to reason about architecture and data models
  • Ability to distinguish critical defects from cosmetic issues
  • Experience prototyping ideas using tools like Cursor or Replit
  • Strong communication skills across engineering and business teams
  • Familiarity with CAD/BIM systems or browser 3D tooling like WebGL

Nice to have

  • Background in residential construction, homebuilding, or architecture
  • Knowledge of plan sets, elevations, and builder variation management
  • Experience shipping AI-assisted features in authoring tools

What you get

  • Competitive salary with significant equity
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Flexible PTO policy
  • Maternity and paternity leave for US employees
  • Short and long-term disability plans
  • 401K retirement plan
