You will define how developers interact with Runway’s API, covering everything from account setup to billing and rate limits. Working closely with platform engineering, you will transform complex technical surfaces into intuitive interfaces, playgrounds, and code samples that accelerate integration.
What you'll do
- Design the developer console and API documentation experience
- Create playground tools and code samples for testing endpoints
- Translate new models and endpoints into clear interfaces
- Collaborate with engineering on authentication and webhook flows
- Ensure visual consistency across the developer platform
- Set design direction and mentor other designers
What you'll need
- Experience shipping developer-facing products or platforms
- Ability to translate technical concepts into intuitive UIs
- Strong skills in web product flows and high-fidelity design
- Proven track record of fast iteration with engineering teams
- Interest in generative AI and creative tool spaces
- Experience prototyping with AI tools like Claude Code or Cursor
Nice to have
- Artistic skills in video or audio editing
- Experience with icon, typography, or illustration design
- Background in establishing design culture in small teams
