You will own the technical architecture and end-to-end delivery of Morpho's product suite. This includes ensuring the platform scales reliably as total value locked grows, while raising the technical bar for the engineering team.
The team builds an open credit network used by institutional clients and major exchanges. You will work in a fast-paced environment where navigating uncertainty and justifying decisions are part of the daily workflow.
What you'll do
- Architect and deliver DeFi products from React frontends to blockchain data indexers
- Design API and SDK strategies for hundreds of integrators with real-time streaming
- Optimize high-performance data systems processing millions of on-chain events
- Lead technical architecture reviews and establish coding standards for the team
- Own observability and incident response using OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and Sentry
What you'll need
- 8-10+ years building fullstack applications at scale with business impact
- Proven track record architecting high-availability systems for millions of requests
- Deep TypeScript expertise in React, Next.js, GraphQL, Node.js, and viem
- Experience building or maintaining on-chain data indexers like Ponder or Subsquid
- Track record of leading technical initiatives across multiple teams without authority
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments without a defined playbook
- Strong ownership mindset with clear, crisp async communication skills
