Aleph is building an AI-first solution for Financial Planning & Analysis, helping finance teams move beyond scattered spreadsheets and disconnected systems. As a Staff Product Designer, you will define product direction and create intuitive interfaces that make complex financial data understandable and actionable.
You will collaborate closely with engineering, customer experience, and leadership to solve difficult problems. The role requires leveraging AI tools throughout the design workflow while maintaining high standards for visual craft and user experience.
What you'll do
- Own the full design lifecycle from research and problem definition to launch and iteration
- Collaborate with engineering and leadership to shape coherent product direction
- Conduct user research and testing to inform product decisions
- Build realistic prototypes to evaluate usability and feasibility
- Create polished interfaces that simplify complex financial workflows
- Integrate AI tools into research, ideation, and design processes
- Mentor peers and improve shared design patterns and team output
What you'll need
- At least 7 years of exceptional product design experience
- Portfolio demonstrating strong product thinking and visual craft
- Ability to lead research, prototyping, and detailed design delivery
- Comfortable navigating complex systems and making them user-friendly
- Proven ability to set direction and make tradeoffs with partners
- Practical experience using AI in design workflows
- Strong communication skills and commitment to team collaboration
