As a Staff Product Manager at ClickUp, you will own problem spaces that shape outcomes across multiple product surfaces. You are expected to be a builder who prototypes workflows and uses AI to scale impact, rather than just managing tasks.
You will drive strategic alignment, synthesize data from various sources, and mentor Senior PMs. The role requires holding strategy and execution simultaneously while contributing to the broader product function.
What you'll do
- Define and own cross-functional problem spaces or foundational platform areas
- Drive strategic alignment and make decisions that unblock work across teams
- Synthesize signals from customer calls, data, and support trends
- Prototype cross-cutting workflows and concepts personally
- Build AI workflows and frameworks for other PMs to adopt
- Mentor Senior PMs and raise the functional floor
- Represent product voice in senior leadership conversations
- Contribute to PM function operations like discovery and quality definition
What you'll need
- 6-8+ years in product management with multi-area or platform ownership
- Ability to drive cross-functional alignment without direct authority
- Systems thinking mindset accounting for second-order effects
- Capacity to handle strategy and execution simultaneously
- Track record of mentoring and elevating other product managers
- Strong data instincts for analysis and metric definition
- Experience with AI tooling to scale personal coverage
- Executive-level communication skills for complex problem framing
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Claude Code, Cursor, Figma AI, and MCP integrations
- Experience using browser automation tools for QA and edge case verification
