Join Deepgram as a Staff Product Manager focused on product-led growth. You will define and optimize the developer experience, managing metrics and experiments that drive activation and retention. Reporting to the VP of Self-Serve, you will partner with cross-functional teams to build the product and systems that support scalable growth in the Voice AI economy.
What you'll do
- Own the PLG funnel metrics, experiments, and product changes driving growth
- Define and manage the developer onboarding, console, and activation path
- Build or deploy systems for business rhythms, data optimization, and experimentation
- Establish a weekly cycle of shipping features, measuring impact, and iterating
- Collaborate with developer relations, marketing, sales, and analytics teams
What you'll need
- Mandatory experience owning PLG funnel metrics like activation or retention
- Proven track record of setting direction and shipping products under uncertainty
- Technical ability to prototype, analyze data, and reason about engineering tradeoffs
- Experience building complete systems for reporting and experimentation from scratch
- Genuine AI fluency with practical experience integrating tools into daily workflows
- Strong judgment to validate metrics and communicate decisions to executives
Nice to have
- Experience with developer or API products and SDK adoption
- Understanding of how AI coding agents influence discovery and integration
- Computer science or engineering background with side projects
- Familiarity with tools like Superset, Heap, or GrowthBook
- Experience in companies running both PLG and enterprise sales motions
