Join vCluster Labs as a specialized technical leader operating outside traditional engineering boundaries. You will collaborate directly with the CTO to explore new frontiers, manage complex technical projects, and validate product opportunities through rapid prototyping.
The team builds vCluster, an open-source technology for virtualizing Kubernetes that supports AI infrastructure and GPU-intensive workloads. Your work will shape the future of this platform while engaging with users to translate deep technical needs into engineering solutions.
What you'll do
- Identify product opportunities and build rapid prototypes to validate feasibility
- Guide technical direction based on research findings and system analysis
- Manage complex technical projects and write technical abstracts
- Collaborate directly with the CTO to solve high-level architectural problems
- Integrate new technologies into the existing stack efficiently
- Engage with customers to understand technical needs and define solutions
What you'll need
- 3+ years of deep technical experience with Kubernetes and GoLang
- Comfortable diving into cloud-native infrastructure internals
- High autonomy and ability to figure out complex issues independently
- Experience beyond coding, including product development and project management
- Rapid learning agility to pick up new tools and concepts on the fly
Nice to have
- Deep understanding of cloud-native containers and ecosystem
- Startup experience with significant technical influence
- Experience writing technical content like white papers or blogs
- Background in Platform Engineering or internal developer platforms
