Lazer Commerce specializes in building scalable commerce experiences within the Shopify ecosystem. As a Technical Architect, you will guide engineers through complex implementations, including platform migrations, ERP integrations, and headless frontend development.
You will manage multiple client projects simultaneously, ensuring technical excellence while collaborating with stakeholders. This position offers autonomy and the chance to work with senior engineers on high-impact retail solutions.
What you'll do
- Lead two to three large commerce projects simultaneously
- Guide engineers in delivering robust Shopify solutions
- Oversee migrations from platforms like Magento or Salesforce
- Manage ERP and OMS integrations such as Netsuite
- Direct headless frontend development using modern frameworks
- Ensure seamless integration of third-party apps and APIs
- Develop private or public apps for the Shopify App Store
What you'll need
- Deep background in software and system architecture
- Expertise in the Shopify ecosystem and Liquid theme development
- Experience leading backend development in Node JS, Python, Go, or Ruby
- Proficiency with headless stacks like React, Hydrogen, or Next.js
- Ability to solve problems with little context and high ambiguity
- Strong communication skills for client stakeholder management
- Confidence in making informed technical decisions independently
