As the first product hire at this early-stage fintech, you will work directly with founders to drive discovery, specifications, and launches. You will balance immediate shipping needs with long-term strategic planning for global money movement, leveraging blockchain rails and traditional banking systems.
What you'll do
- Own the product roadmap across corridors, rails, and platform capabilities
- Conduct discovery with technical customers to define precise build specs
- Define core platform surfaces including payment orchestration and APIs
- Translate regulatory changes into product decisions and architectural updates
- Manage partner integrations and negotiate capability gaps with banks
- Establish standards for specifications, launches, and decision-making
What you'll need
- 6+ years in product with senior ownership of technical products
- Domain expertise in cross-border payments, crypto, or treasury management
- Experience shipping API-first products to technical buyers
- Comfort working within regulated environments and compliance constraints
- Ability to lead technical discussions and reason about failure modes
- Strong writing skills for specs, memos, and launch notes
- Experience working in fast-paced startup environments
Nice to have
- Background at a payments platform, PSP, or bank technology provider
- Experience taking products from design partners to go-to-market
- Experience hiring or building out a product function
- Fluency with AI-assisted workflows and modern tooling
