BJAK is expanding beyond insurance into payments, remittance, wealth, and trading with an AI-native finance superapp. As Technical Product Lead, you will own a product vertical, balancing AI innovation with the strict reliability and regulatory demands of moving real money.
You will collaborate with engineering, compliance, and operations to ship trusted financial products. The role requires deep technical understanding to shape system architecture while ensuring correctness and auditability in a distributed team environment.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, roadmap, metrics, and delivery end-to-end
- Shape technical design for APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Balance trade-offs between speed, cost, reliability, and regulations
- Integrate KYC, transaction monitoring, and privacy into product features
- Apply AI with safeguards, human oversight, and clear evaluation methods
- Manage launches involving regulatory approvals and third-party partners
- Align engineering, design, compliance, and operations on product decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
- Ability to review and contribute to technical designs with engineers
- Experience in regulated domains like payments, banking, or insurance
- Skill in making trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, including reliability assessment
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
