BJAK is expanding beyond insurance into a comprehensive AI Finance Superapp covering payments, remittance, wealth, and trading. As a Technical Product Lead, you will own a product vertical, balancing AI innovation with the strict reliability and regulatory requirements of moving real money.
You will collaborate with engineering, compliance, and operations to deliver trusted financial products. The role requires strong technical judgment to determine where AI adds value and where deterministic systems must remain in control.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, roadmap, metrics, and delivery end-to-end
- Shape technical design for APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Balance trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and reliability
- Integrate regulatory requirements like KYC and transaction monitoring
- Apply AI with safeguards, human oversight, and clear evaluation metrics
- Manage external dependencies including regulatory approvals and partners
- Align engineering, design, compliance, and finance teams on decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
- Experience collaborating with engineers on technical design reviews
- Background in payments, banking, insurance, or regulated fintech domains
- Ability to make trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, including reliability assessment
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
