BJAK is expanding beyond insurance to build an AI-native finance superapp covering payments, remittance, wealth, and trading. As a Technical Product Lead, you will own a specific product vertical, balancing AI innovation with the strict reliability and regulatory demands of handling real money.
You will collaborate with engineering, compliance, and operations to define strategy, shape technical design, and ensure successful launches. The role requires deep technical understanding to make trade-offs between speed, cost, correctness, and user experience in a regulated environment.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, roadmap, metrics, and delivery end-to-end
- Shape technical design for APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Drive trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, and reliability
- Integrate regulatory requirements like KYC and transaction monitoring
- Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards, and human oversight
- Manage external dependencies including regulatory approvals and partners
- Align engineering, design, compliance, and operations on product decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
- Experience collaborating with engineers on technical designs
- Background in payments, banking, insurance, or regulated fintech
- Ability to make trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, including reliability evaluation
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
