KIRA is expanding its leading insurance platform into a comprehensive AI finance superapp covering payments, remittance, insurance, wealth, and trading. As a Technical Product Lead, you will own a product vertical, ensuring reliability and regulatory compliance while leveraging AI where it genuinely improves outcomes.
You will collaborate with engineering, design, and compliance teams to ship products that handle real money securely. The role demands a strong technical foundation and the ability to make difficult trade-offs under regulatory and operational constraints.
What you'll do
- Own a product vertical end-to-end, including strategy, metrics, roadmap, and delivery
- Shape technical design with engineering across APIs, data flows, and security
- Drive trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and user experience
- Integrate regulatory requirements such as KYC, transaction monitoring, and privacy
- Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards, and human oversight where appropriate
- Manage external dependencies including regulatory approvals and third-party partners
- Align Engineering, Design, Compliance, and Operations around product decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong technical foundation in system architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
- Experience working closely with engineers and reviewing technical designs
- Background in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, or regulated domains
- Ability to make difficult trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI products, including reliability evaluation
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration

- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM-powered products
