KIRA is building an AI-native finance superapp covering payments, insurance, wealth, and trading across Southeast Asia. As a Technical Product Lead, you will own a specific product vertical, balancing AI innovation with the strict reliability and regulatory demands of moving real money.
You will collaborate with engineering, compliance, and operations to deliver secure, auditable, and trusted financial tools. The role requires deep technical understanding to shape system architecture while ensuring AI is applied only where it genuinely improves outcomes.
What you'll do
- Own a product vertical end-to-end including strategy, roadmap, and delivery
- Shape technical design for APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Drive trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and regulatory needs
- Integrate KYC, transaction monitoring, and privacy requirements into products
- Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards, and human oversight
- Manage external dependencies like regulatory approvals and financial rails
- Align engineering, design, compliance, and operations on product decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
- Ability to review, challenge, and contribute to technical designs
- Experience in regulated domains like payments, banking, or insurance
- Strong judgment for making trade-offs under technical and legal constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, including reliability evaluation
- Fluent English communication skills for global team collaboration

- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
