KIRA is expanding its leading insurance platform into a comprehensive AI finance superapp covering payments, remittance, insurance, wealth, and trading. As a Technical Product Lead, you will own a specific product vertical, balancing technical design, regulatory compliance, and AI integration to deliver reliable financial tools.
You will collaborate with engineering, design, and compliance teams to ship products that handle real money securely. The position requires strong technical judgment to determine where AI adds value versus where deterministic systems are necessary, ensuring trust and auditability in every feature.
What you'll do
- Own a product vertical end-to-end, including strategy, roadmap, and delivery
- Shape technical design across APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Drive trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and regulatory needs
- Integrate regulatory requirements like KYC, privacy, and transaction monitoring
- Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards, and human oversight
- Manage external dependencies such as regulatory approvals and financial rails
- Align Engineering, Design, Compliance, and Operations on product decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, databases, and distributed systems
- Experience collaborating with engineers on technical designs and reviews
- Background in payments, banking, insurance, trading, or regulated fintech
- Ability to make trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, including reliability and evaluation
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration

- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
