KIRA is expanding its leading insurance platform into a comprehensive finance superapp covering payments, remittance, wealth, and trading. As a Technical Product Lead, you will own a specific product vertical, balancing AI innovation with the strict reliability and regulatory demands of handling real money.
You will collaborate closely with engineering, compliance, and operations to deliver secure, auditable, and trusted financial tools. The role requires strong technical judgment to determine where AI adds value and where deterministic systems must remain in control.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, metrics, roadmap, and delivery end-to-end
- Shape technical design for APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Balance trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and regulatory needs
- Integrate KYC, transaction monitoring, and privacy requirements into products
- Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards, and human oversight
- Manage external dependencies like regulatory approvals and financial rails
- Align engineering, design, compliance, and operations on launch goals
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
- Ability to review and contribute to technical designs with engineers
- Experience in regulated domains like payments, banking, or insurance
- Strong judgment for making trade-offs under technical and legal constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, including reliability assessment
- Fluent English communication skills for global team collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
How you'll work
- Hybrid work model with 3 days per week in the local office
