You will lead a product vertical for BJAK's AI Investing Superapp, covering payments, remittance, insurance, wealth, and trading. This role demands balancing AI innovation with the strict reliability and regulatory standards required for moving real money.
Working with global teams, you will define strategy, shape technical architecture, and ensure compliance while delivering trusted financial products. The focus is on building systems that are auditable, secure, and genuinely improved by AI where appropriate.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, metrics, roadmap, and delivery end-to-end
- Shape technical design for APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Balance trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and reliability
- Integrate regulatory requirements like KYC and transaction monitoring
- Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards, and human oversight
- Manage external dependencies including regulatory approvals and partners
- Align Engineering, Design, Compliance, and Operations on product decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
- Ability to review and contribute to technical designs with engineers
- Experience in regulated domains like payments, banking, or insurance
- Strong judgment for making trade-offs under regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI products including reliability checks
- Fluent English communication skills for global collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
