BJAK is expanding beyond insurance to build an AI-native investing platform for Southeast Asia. As Technical Product Lead, you will own a product vertical from strategy to launch, ensuring reliability and trust in financial transactions. You will collaborate with engineering and compliance to integrate AI where it adds value while maintaining strict regulatory standards.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, roadmap, priorities and delivery end-to-end
- Shape technical design for APIs, data flows, ledgering and security
- Drive trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost and regulatory needs
- Integrate KYC, transaction monitoring and privacy requirements into product
- Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards and human oversight
- Manage external dependencies like regulatory approvals and financial rails
- Align Engineering, Design, Compliance and Operations on product decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs and distributed systems
- Experience collaborating with engineers on technical designs
- Background in payments, banking, insurance or regulated fintech domains
- Ability to make trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI products including reliability checks
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration

- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
