BJAK is expanding beyond insurance to build an AI-native investing superapp covering payments, remittance, wealth, and trading. As a Technical Product Lead, you will own a product vertical, balancing AI innovation with the strict reliability and regulatory demands of financial systems. You will collaborate with global teams to deliver trusted, auditable products that handle real money.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, metrics, roadmap, and delivery end-to-end
- Shape technical design for APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Balance trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and compliance
- Integrate regulatory requirements like KYC and transaction monitoring
- Apply AI with clear safeguards, evaluation, and human oversight
- Manage launches involving regulatory approvals and third-party partners
- Align Engineering, Design, Compliance, and Operations on product decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
- Ability to review and contribute to technical designs with engineers
- Experience in regulated domains like payments, banking, or insurance
- Strong judgment for trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, including reliability evaluation
- Fluent English communication for global team collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
